I TESTED POSITIVE

I was watching my favorite series in my room when I heard my mom knocking on my door. When I opened it, she was looking at me and said in a low tone, “The result of your Rapid Antibody Test earlier was positive”.

 

I was shocked. My hands were shaking. I did not expect to have that kind of result because I thought I was healthy. When I looked at my mom again, she was crying. She told me that everything will be okay and there is nothing to worry about.

 

On my first night in the isolation room, I was crying. I was afraid to think that I was alone again. Why of all the people in the world, this thing happened to me? Am I really that bad? I kept asking questions but there were no answers. It was horrible.

 

Many days had passed and I was used to being around. I suddenly thought about me a week ago, the person before I was isolated. I remembered how anxious I was and I felt useless all the time. I was not physically nor mentally healthy. If I was not taken immediately, I did not know what I would do to myself. The idea of this isolation gave me life. It motivated me to do better. I ate lots of fruits and vegetables. I had my exercises every morning. I cleaned the area and most importantly, prayed to God. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise towards the right path.

 

Right now, I am still in the isolation room and patiently waiting for the result of my Swab Test. I am praying that the result will literally be Negative.
