Many times in this quarantine, you find yourself stuck at that same old habit. You wake up at 9am and first thing in the morning, you grab your phone, check your messages, and scroll for a while.
You get out of bed at 11am to take a quick brunch, charge your phone, take a bath, and go back to your room, doing the same old stuff—you grab your phone, open Netflix, and watch your favorite series 'til your mother screams your name to get out of your room to breathe some fresh air, or more likely, to save your family from huge electric bills.
When the quarantine protocol goes lifted, you are looking forward to meet with friends and eat your favorite unlimited chicken wings together.
Generally speaking, you are so focused looking forward to the future, to a time when the pandemic ends.
But listen closely, have you ever noticed what you’ve been doing at the present?
Take a pause. Feel your present environment, think of your daily habits, and imagine your lifestyle. Then, ask yourself:
"Am I growing?"
"And where am I going?"
Come to think of it, we are at a time of change and you are still stuck at your traditional unproductive life. Everything is changing—the way you interact with people, the way you do your job, and even the way you present yourself. Everyone except you is changing. Everyone is growing because they learned to adapt with change.
In this time of change, if you stay steady, you are losing the fight. Because relative to you, others are growing. Even the forces of evil are growing.
So pick yourself up, change the script of your life, and start growing.
