Where do Broken Hearts Go?

Where Do Broken Hearts Go?

By:  Deutsche Mark Rondina

Break ups. Bankruptcy. Big-time losses.

In one way or another, we may all have experienced one of these at a certain point in our lives. Things like these leave us broken, making us question a lot of things in the process.

But after all the denial and the bargaining that happens, we always go back to the same question, wondering: where do I go from here?

The answer is simple: you don’t really need to go somewhere. Because at the end of the day, the brokenness remains no matter what you do. These things happen because destiny allows them to come into your life, so you can learn the most important lessons to help you grow as a better person.

And as things start to unfold, our hearts then set out on a journey, trying to understand the deeper meaning of life. In the process, our hearts take us to places where we can choose to laugh or cry; to dwell on the past or live our lives once again.

Therefore, the question shouldn’t be where do broken hearts go, but rather, where does your broken heart lead you to?

Because like how a sword is forged in a furnace to achieve its best quality, so is a person experiencing problems. This is something that we do not understand sometimes, that like the sword, God molds you through pain and creates a better version of you. So when another opportunity comes, you’ll be more ready to claim it because you have been refined anew.

So where do broken hearts lead you to? They lead you to your growth as a person, your wholeness, to a better understanding of yourself, and eventually, to the better future awaiting for you.
